Citizens of Carolina Beach,

Around the first of September, I was approached by a group of friends who asked me if I would be willing to run as a write-in candidate for the office of Mayor of Carolina Beach. To be honest, I had to think about it.

After turning the reins over to Dennis Barbour in 2003, I considered myself retired from politics. But due to the circumstances which our town is now facing, I had to accept their offer. Carolina Beach voters elected two Councilman and a Mayor with absolutely no experience, and we are now paying the price.

I hope you will join me in solving the Town's problems. Together, we can make a real difference in Carolina Beach, and take our town back.
